Richard Royal

Richard Royal (born 1952) is an American glass artist. After having initially studied ceramics, Richard attended Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington and was one of the first students to emerge from the early days in the late 1970s. In the 1980s he worked along with Dale Chihuly, and has since been a professional artist. Richard often returns to Pilchuck Glass School as an instructor. He lives and creates his blown and hot sculpted glass works in Seattle, Washington.
His works can be found in national and international museums, both private and public art collections and in numerous galleries throughout the United States.
