Richard Agudelo (born 14 June) is an American portrait, music, beauty and fashion photographer based in New York City. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ and raised in-between New Jersey, Colombia and Boca Raton FL. As of 1999 he has been based in New York. In December 1999, Agudelo's work was featured in a book released by Tommy Hilfiger titled Rock Style. His images of Janet Jackson, Joe Perry and Kurt Cobain were featured during the exhibition of the Rock Style book at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. After the show, his images of several artists, such as Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, David Bowie, and U2, were placed in the archive of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to be used alongside exhibitions of their respective artist. His work is also featured in the collection of The Experience Music Project in Seattle. During the late 2000's, Agudelo was involved in mentoring student artist, Zack Gross.
