Richard Little is an inventor and engineer based in New Zealand. He is the co-founder of Rex Bionics and the founder of Exsurgo. Professional life Rex Bionics In 2007, Little co-founded Rex Bionics, a medical robotics skeleton company to improve mobility and health for people with mobility impairments. The robotic legs are strapped to the user's legs and are controlled with a joystick. Exsurgo Little founded Exsurgo in 2015 to develop neurological rehabilitation science and technology including EEG Neurofeedback as a drug-free treatment for a range of medical conditions. EEG Neurofeedback reads electrical activity in the brain to enable to self-regulate brain activity and manage pain. The Axon headset reads and sends brain wave data to a tablet where patients play simples games to help change the electrical signals associated with pain. In a small study in the United Kingdom in 2020, patients reported reductions in pain, migraines and anxiety.
