Revolution Song is a song by Oasis, written and sung by their lead guitarist, Noel Gallagher. The song first came to public awareness when a promo-CD of demoes for the group's 4th studio album, Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, was leaked to the Sun newspaper. There has been confusion amongst fans as to what the actual title of the song is. It has been referred to as 'Solve My Mystery' (due to the lyrics in the song) by some, but in an interview with Melody Maker magazine Noel confirmed that the song was indeed named "Revolution Song". He stated that "Revolution Song" was considered for inclusion on Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants but was subsequently removed because Blur had a similar-sounding song on their album 13 which was released almost a year before Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants. The demoed song has been praised by many fans of Oasis.
