Otherwise known as an Adverse Event Reporting System Reportum was build by , in late 2013, as a SaaS solution for pharmaceutical companies to support pharmacovigilance. How it works It is a web service that asks a mixture of questions. The questions are captured through set of triggered form elements based on previous answers. The user fills out as many of the questions as they need and once submitted, the report is sent directly to the product manufacturer in a standard industry format known as . The software is primarily built with Ruby on Rails and the data is stored in a PostGres database, mostly encrypted due to the nature of it's content.
