Reischea Canidate

Reischea Canidate (born August 26, 1975) is an American journalist. She formerly worked for ESPN and ESPNews.
Born and raised in Fresno, California, Canidate attended college at the University of Southern California. Along the way, she has worked in different markets such as
Fresno and San Diego. In college, she received B.S. in exercise science (Physiology).
She received her big shot in the broadcasting world in 1998 when she was asked to cover the Fresno State in Oklahoma City. In addition to reporting sports, she was also an active part in it. She served as a high jumper for the USC Trojans.
In 2006, Canidate participated in an on-air sky diving event.
She also worked for WNYW and was an on air reporter for Mike and Mike in the Morning and ESPN First Take on ESPN2.
She has also been the guest MC for Harlem RBI's "Bids For Kids" Gala, a non-profit organization servicing youth in East Harlem, New York City.
Reischea is currently married to Alex Kapasouris. On September 10, 2010, Canidate announced live on ESPN First Take that she was pregnant. Canidate's baby was born February 7, 2011.
On Friday, July 29, 2011 she retired from ESPN First Take to start working on ESPN's Sportscenter.
