Rehyn

Rehyn is an American singer/songwriter, (born 1984) in Houston, Texas and currently residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her real name is Krista Zahn and she has been playing piano since the age 5.
Young and inspired, Rehyn's compositions represent a unique balance between a timeless lyrically driven base and a simple yet soulful mix of piano. Rehyn's debut EP, A Time To Fly (May 2008), represents just a tiny slice of her musical range. A poetic lyrical storyteller with a voice to match, Rehyn seamlessly blends the facets of soul and pop, and will draw you in with her words.
Lane Klozier from Maximum Ink Music Magazine has written that Rehyn has a distinguished stage presence that lends the audience a compelling vocal display and strong sense of storytelling. She shows the promise of a young Sarah McLaughlin or Fiona Apple. Rehyn was also compared to Carole King by Jamie Lee Rake from the Shepherd Express.
In November 2008, Rehyn landed a licensing deal with MTV, Oxygen and networks through Bunim/Murray Productions for her current album, A Time to Fly - EP
In January 2009, Rehyn was entered into a showcase through a UK financing website www.slicethepie.com. You can pre order her next album now.
