Photo Incentive is a Chicago, Illinois based Alternative project. Frontman Tim Pool let creating musical work consume his time since 2004 when his former band departed. With a vocal style that is compared to that of Death Cab For Cutie, Photo Incentive takes the collaboration project label to a new level. With digital and acoustic drums, synthesized bass guitar and various other perks, Photo Incentive is able to put on a live show that eclipses the sound created in the studio. Currently Photo Incentive is managed by Direct Route inc.
History The band was originally conceived as a side project, but after a few successful demos, Tim Pool decided to make Photo Incentive his main musical priority. After releasing two demos in 2004 Tim Pool went on to finish the Winter EP. Quickly gaining a following through internet viral video, Photo Incentive was featured in The Skateboard Magazine.
Shortly after the feature Photo Incentive, at the time featuring Ryan Lee, went on a tour to promote the new Album. The Tour consisted of stops in LA, Seattle, Phoenix, and Denver. Paying his way around the U.S by busking in public areas he was able to finally return to Chicago early 2008. Shortly After Ryan Lee departed to pursue music in a different direction Tim Pool teamed up with Miguel White to continue work on the next album set for release early 2009.
