Reggae Rise Up

Reggae Rise Up is a four-day reggae music festival held at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, Florida.
History
Reggae Rise Up is an annual event that began as a one-day event in Tampa, Florida on September 27, 2015. It was founded by Vaughn Carrick, whose company Live Nite Events, has staged reggae festivals in his home state of Utah since 2010. Carrick was spending a lot of time in Florida and he says, "I felt there was a void there in the reggge world, and thought we could fill that."
Due to it's large capacity, the venue was moved to a larger and it's current location in Vinoy Park 9n the water in St. Petersburg on March 5, 2016. Over the years, the festival increased in size from a two-day and three-day weekend event to a four day celebration with 10,000 to 15,000 fans in attendance.
The festival features four days of the biggest and best reggae bands on multiple stages, along with one-hundred different craft and food vendors, dozens of beverage stations, interactive activities, and large-scale art installations.
Reggae Rise Up Music Festival grew so much on the East Coast that Corrick decided to bring his creation near the West Coast by hosting it in Las Vegas, Nevada. On October 9-10, 2021, the inaugural Reggae Rise Up Las Vegas festival will take place at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
