Redstone Science Fiction is an American online science fiction magazine. It was launched June 1, 2010 by Redstone Publishing. Redstone Science Fiction publishes its content online for free, releasing fiction and nonfiction articles during the first week of each month. The magazine is also available in E-book formats, including ePub, and PDF. There is also a mobile phone version available when using a smartphone. The first two issues of Redstone Science Fiction featured fiction from Daniel Powell, Peter Roberts, Christopher Miller, and Ahmed A. Khan. Nonfiction features included articles by Sarah Einstein and Henry Cribbs. Interviews with fiction editors Lou Anders and Cat Rambo have been positively received by science fiction writers and editors. Redstone Science Fiction initiated a writing contest to draw attention to issues of disability in science fiction that has drawn widespread attention. Redstone Science Fiction was listed as one of the top four places to submit science fiction short stories, along with , Analog, and Lightspeed Magazine. Future issues of Redstone Science Fiction will include fiction from published writers Mary Robinette Kowal, Vylar Kaftan, Cat Rambo, Hannu Rajaniemi, Rahul Kanakia and Gray Rinehart as well as from newcomers such as Desmond Warzul, Rhiannon Held, and Patrick Lundrigan.
