Redline Rumble

Redline rumble is a yearly festival run by Redline magazine and held at Santa Pod Raceway, Northants. The main theme of the show is modified cars but there are some wacky contributions such as a Jet Car, Dragsters, Junior Dragsters and then the down right insane such as bright yellow mondeos with smiley faces painted on it and a Porsche 911 GT3RS racing an Ariel Atom and losing dramatically. The night before the festival is possibly the best time as the raceway comes alive at night and all the ladies come out to play, this involves pole dancers getting fully unclothed and dancing up a pole, much to the delight of everyone, men and women alike. The GOTP competition is open to people who qualify in the qualifying events before the actual GOTP at Redline Rumble. This involves many high performance cars, mostly Japanese, racing up a quarter mile drag strip as quickly as possible, the winner in 2005 was Leon Green in a Toyota Supra and the 2006 winner was a Subaru Impreza.
