Redaxscript is a free, PHP and MySQL driven content management system for small business and private websites. It's extremely lightweight, simple and customizable. This is its first release, and a most impressive beginning it is. We've worked with Wordpress, Textpattern, Pivot, and others, but this first release of Redaxscript is certainly the easiest to deal with right out of the box. Only a couple of folders and a few files to upload to the server. Less than 200 kb. Amazing. Not over-wrought like most of the popular CMS options available, it currently offers only a single basic page template that can be easily reformatted to integrate with any existing site design. And the administration area makes more sense than most we've seen. Perhaps not yet suitable for an industrial strength site, it could be ideal for the basic personal blog or small business site where dynamically generated content is desired.
