Reclaim The Sky started in Jan 2013 and is the collaboration of five unique individuals brought together by both chance and fate. Growing up in different parts of Southern California, each member developed their own musical style based on their respective backgrounds, influences, and aspirations. The common elements that bind them are determination, drive and a deep rooted desire to make music that connects with their fans on both a spiritual and cerebral level. "Our music makes you think", states Drummer AJ Rage. "Most people hear us and have difficulty placing us into one musical genre. That works for us because above all, we love to experiment without limitations." Lead singer Mario Sky takes the listener on an enigmatic journey from one verse to the next. "That's the beauty of music", says bassist Mighty Mike. "Everyone has their own interpretation of a song and its meaning. It can be good or bad, uplifting or sad. That's what makes music so special." Mario's versatile vocal style coupled with the creative guitar of Izzy and Katie Kei, allow this band to reach new heights. AJ Rage lays the song's foundation with solid drum beats, while Mighty Mike's bass lines provide the finishing touch.

In December of 2012, Reclaim The Sky went into the studio to record their new single "Whirlpools & Fire Pits", with Sony’s Grammy Winning Producer Josh “Igloo” Monroy. He has worked with dozens of established artists and bands from Ludacris, Elton John, to Tomorrow's Bad Seeds. We believe the song is a testament to our hard work and the new musical direction we are undertaking. Reclaim The Sky just completed our their first music video for the new single and within one week, we reached over 17,600 views along with countless positive comments. Whether it’s a strong emotion, new idea or distant memory, everyone has something great inside that should be shared. After countless hours of rehearsal, recording and refining, Reclaim The Sky is ready to take the World by storm.
