Raymond Lloyd

Raymond Lloyd (born November 28, 1934) graduated with a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Exeter College, Oxford. He worked with the International Red Cross in Vienna and Geneva, and for the Food & Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome.
The Council for Parity Democracy was founded as Women & Men by Raymond Lloyd in Rome on International Women's Day 8 March 1980. He is also the Editor of the monthly newsletter The Parity Democrat (ISSN 1367-6946), published since January 1997, and uploaded on the shequality.org website, up to issue No. 156 for December 2009.
There are some 600 downloadable text files on this site, representing 30 years of fulltime voluntary research. A valuable free resource on women's issues and data on women's lives.
