The Marguerite Rawalt Research Center (also known as the Rawalt Online Resource Center) is one of the USA's leading clearinghouses for information on working women. The Center is maintained by the Business and Professional Women's Foundation located in Washington, D.C. First dedicated in 1980, the online adaptation of the vast library continues to make one of the world’s largest collections of information about women and their work more accessible and easier to use. The Resource Center was named for Dr. Marguerite Rawalt, who was both a successful attorney and longtime champion of women’s rights. Among her many accomplishments was the incorporation of BPW Foundation, the first national foundation dedicated to serving business and professional women.
