Randon II

Randon II, seigneur de Saint-Didier, baron de Joyeuse and gouverneur du Dauphine' (1380-1424), was a French knight and member of the French nobility.
Her father was Louis I baron de Joyeuse . Her sister was Clair de Joyeuse, Alexandre first baron de Joyeuse was his grand-father. Randon II's ancestor was Guillaume I seigneur de Châteauneuf-Randon (1050-?). He was the husband of Catherine Aubert, Dame de Boutheon (1380-?), from the family Aubert de Bulbon (ennobled in 1338 by the king Charles V). She was the niece of the Pope Innocent VI. The de Joyeuse were dukes since 1581, it was a gift from the king HENRI III to her friend Anne de Joyeuse.
Randon II is the ancestor of many greats noblemans like the cardinal de Joyeuse and Henri de Joyeuse. Randon II and Catherine Aubert de Bulbon had three children : Louis I viscount de Joyeuse, Jean chevalier de Rhodes and Jeanne Dame de Joyeuse.
Randon II died in 1424.
