Ramona Persaud (born September 1971) is a West Indian-born, documentary film maker, photographer, writer and salesperson, who loves to travel. Persaud was born in Georgetown, Guyana. She emigrated to Ontario in Canada in 1986 with her parents and her siblings. Ramona eventually settled in Toronto where she attended school and started her career in marketing. She eventually continued her studies with film making courses at Ryerson University. Her first photography show was called "Reality Check" in September 2005 at Gypsy Co-Op in Toronto. Her first documentary film is about Autism, called "It's a Different World", which is now in post-production (release date unknown). Ramona has recently relocated to her newly adopted home in New York where she lives with her husband and their family.
