Rakhi Rashmi

Rakhi Rashmi is a barrister in England and Wales. She is the first few Indian female who was a PhD in Law at the time of the call to the Bar of England and Wales. Rashmi specialised in general litigation who has advised on several international issues and whose opinions have been widely published internationally in newspapers. She worked with CNRS GREDEG France, and different High Commissions such as Brazil, Peru and Cuba as consultant/advisor. Rashmi was trained at the World Health Organisation (South East Asia Regional Office) and the United Nations University (Maastricht). Rashmi is consultant lecturer at Isis Innovation Oxford (a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Oxford). Rashmi is also a visiting fellow at Kings College Department of Political Economy. Rashmi has worked in four different countries and extensively written and spoken on biopharma patenting, innovation, technology transfer, human rights, and access to drugs in around 22 countries.
Rashmi is the founder of the Abhigyan Foundation which works for underprivileged children.
