RAIGN

RAIGN (born and often credited as Rachel Rabin, born July 28th 1982) is a British singer songwriter and producer. RAIGN started writing at the late age of 26 and signed her first publishing deal in America in 2012, to EMI Music Publishing. RAIGN released her first official single "Don't Let Me Go" in May 2014, (co-witten by New York based producers Mysto and Pizzi), after it aired on Episode 21, season 5 (The Promised Land) of the The Vampire Diaries. Following the one minute airing of the song, eight thousand copies of this single were sold worldwide in just two weeks, putting the single in the top 100 of the itunes alternative charts in the USA, UK and Russia. Later the same year, RAIGN cowrote and featured on "Fix Me" by Russian DJs Swanky Tunes which went to the #1 spot on the national airplay charts in Russia on August 11th 2014 and is set to release in the US and worldwide in fall 2014.
While writing her still unreleased debut studio album (working title Empire of Our Own), RAIGN has also worked as a writer for other developing and established artists signed to major labels in the US and UK. In 2012 her first cowrite, "Been Lying", was recorded and released by British pop star Rita Ora on her album Ora. RAIGN has also collaborated on songs recorded and released by Tulisa Contostavlos, Ty Dolla Sign and Jesse McCartney, for whom she cowrote the ballad single "The Other Guy" released on his 2014 album In Technicolor. RAIGN has also had numerous songs licensed by popular TV shows in America and Europe. Released under her birth name in 2012, "Raise The Dead" aired on cult spin off show The Originals; and her collaboration with Max and Simon, "This is the Moment", has appeared on over ten US TV shows and promos, including The X Factor, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and So You Think You Can Dance.
RAIGN's vocals were also used in the classroom scene of the movie LOL, and her most recent collaboration with Max and Simon, "Make this House a Home" (also performed by RAIGN), will appear on the soundtrack for the .
