Ragini Shetty aka Abhijatha probably had the most important role in Bigg Boss. She was the Bigg Boss's special non celebrity. she had to create a whole new identity, to convince the Bigg Boss contestants that she also is a celebrity.For Abhijatha it was like being in a movie miss congeniality or Never been kissed.She was no spy cause she was in for the surprise just as any other contestant and she was given no inside information either. In fact, for about more than half of the season,she had to play as ragini shetty. She was in Big Boss for the love of adventure, the concept of the show and for to do something wild.
Introduction in Bigg Boss
Bigg Boss's host Arshad Warsi introduced the last and the 13th celebrity as Ragini Shetty, an actress from South India. As she stepped out of the car. Arshad asked her if she could speak Hindi and she replied positively. After she went in to the Bigg Boss's house, Arshad revealed a twist in the tale that she wasn’t any film star, she wasn’t from South India, and that she was a secret agent whom they have sent in to spy on the celebs up-close-and-personal. When she went in, she was told by Bigg Boss to fetch a letter from the confession room and read it out in front of everyone. The letter said that the celebrities 'have too much luggage and have to get rid of 30 kilos of it'. At last, Arshad locked the entrance and they were trapped in for the next three months.She became most famous and loved contestant by people around the world.Her grace and elegance won her best Television personality award.She was discovered by Aleque Padamse(the AD guru) and did acting for theatre for one year with him before heading to New york to make films.
Abhijatha is 24 years old and has been working as an assistant director for the last three years. She is into writing scripts and wants to make films.
