Radio Malish was a radio station that broadcast programs for UN troops in order to both provide information on current events, and to keep the soldiers in touch with Sweden. It assisted Swedish Radio with technology and broadcasting. History Middle East Malish Radio began broadcasting between Egypt and Israel in Sinai. Radio Malish developed a sister station, named Radio Scorpio, due to range issues. In Lebanon Radio Malish began to broadcast in Lebanon. The equipment used during this period was donated by Swedish Radio. The slogan used during the time was "The swedish voice in the Middle East; 104.5".
