Rachel Booth was born Rachel Evjen, December 25, 1980 in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Rachel Booth is an American professional runner who participates in National track, cross country and the marathons. She currently is sponsored by Apercen Partners. Rachel Evjen competed at the collegiete level at Northwestern University and at Florida State University. At Florida State, Rachel Booth ran for legendary national champion coach Bob Braman.

Rachel Booth ran as a student-athlete at Northwestern University until the spring of 2003, majoring in Science in Education and Social Policy and competing in both cross country and track. Upon graduation, Rachel went on to run in track and field at Florida State University. While competing in ACC events and National Events, she completed her masters in Master of Science in Physical Education.
