EasyGraph is a commercial 2D line graphing and error analysis software published by Future Skill Software., a privately-held Seattle based company. EasyGraph is available for Windows computers. Features * Simple interface for novice users * Tailored towards Science classes at High School and Colleges * Permits entry of data errors directly into the spreadsheet * Propagates line errors into fitted graphs * Computes gradients and areas under curves * Permits replicate data to be stored within the spread-sheet grid cell Future Skill Software also publishes the commercial educational software and a range of free MicroApps for education such as Bell Curve, QuizMe and AimAndFire Error Propagation Propagation of uncertainty is an important topic in the physical and social sciences. Errors inevitably occur during measurements of physical quantities and error laden data is often transformed in subsequent analysis. These transformations are often nonlinear resulting in nonlinear transformations of the error terms. This means that error bars are transformed in the process, possibly resulting in heteroscedasticity and violation of standard statistical assumptions. Error transformation is a tedious calculation to by hand and any computer assistance is useful. Very few software packages exist that support these calculations Three notable examples include letters.net Calculator, uncertainties module, epic and EasyGraph. EasyGraph is an application that integrates error propagation into its graph plotting capabilities.
