Rabbit Pack

"The Rabbit Pack" was Hugh Hefner's notorious fraternity of male friends during the peak years of Playboy Mansion West. The group of 12 included John Dante, Joe DeCarlo, Bernie Cornfeld, Shel Silverstein, Gene Schacove, Jim Brown, Lee Wolfberg, John Rockwell, Berry Gordy, Billy Eisenberg, Michael Trikilis, and James Caan.
Most notably, the group engaged in marathon game playing competitions, often lasting 3 days or more on the mansion grounds. "Obsessions" began with monopoly, then moved on to pinball, and later backgammon.
Between game playing, other antics of the group included heterosexual promiscuity, marijuana circles, and philosophizing on life.
