R. Michael Warren has, since 1985, been the Chairman and CEO of The Warren Group Inc,a consulting group that provides strategic advice to governments and corporations. He served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Sunrise Senior Living REIT from 2004 to 2007. He was the first President and CEO of Canada Post Corporation (1981-1985) and the first Chief General Manager of the Toronto Transit Commission (1975-1981). During 1980 he was also acted as the Interim General Manager of the Canadian National Exhibition. From 1962 until 1975 Warren was a Deputy Minister in several Ontario Government departments including the Solicitor General, Housing and Municipal Affairs and Citizenship. He has served on a wide range of business, association, arts and community boards. He is a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Transport (UK) and received the Canada Centennial Medal. Warren holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and is a member of their Sports Hall of Fame.
