R. H. Sankhala

Dr. Ram Swaroop Harlal Sankhala (born November 21 1922) was a professor in many international and Indian universities.
He was married to Late Smt. Saroj R. Sankhala. His father Late Shri Harlal Sankhala was a big merchant in Jodhpur and owned a lot of real-estates in Jodhpur.(Rajasthan). He had five daughters out of which three are doctors and two sons out of which, one is Mr. Kapil Singh Sankhala (DANICS 1997 Batch.).
He did a lot of social service in his life after retirement. He used to publish a Hindi journal for society which was titled Pragatisheel Sainik Kshatriya. He had written many research papers on different topics in organic chemistry and biochemistry. He had taught at various renowned Universities all over the world . He was also associated with the Biochemical Society.

Death
Dr. Ram Swaroop Harlal Sankhala, died on 27th August, 1999 due to Heart Attack and Paralysis. His wife Late (Smt.) Saroj Sankhala, died 4 months earlier then him (27th April,1999).
