Quran and the Modern Science

Introduction Quran is the central holy scripture of the Muslims. It was revealed about 1450 years ago in the deserts of Arabia on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The main theme of the book is that God is one and every human being must worship him alone. Besides these things the book also contains scientific facts, scientific laws and information, which coincides with modern scientific knowledge. The interesting thing is that the scientific knowledge present in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago has been discovered by scientists recently in previous couple of centuries. Quran is the book that talks about Astonomy, Medicine, Geology, Oceanology, Physics, Hydrology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology. In 1976 a French medical doctor Maurice Bucaille concluded that Quran is in agreement with scientific facts and there is not a single scientific error in the Quran and thus concludes it as a word of God.
