Quest Community Church

Quest Community Church is a Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), multi-generational Evangelical Christian megachurch located in Lexington, Kentucky. The church was founded and had its first service on May 2, 1999 by Pete Hise, who was the pastor from 1999 to 2014.
History
Quest Community Church was started when Pete Hise and his wife Jacki, were inspired to start a church in Lexington. The church was founded by Hise and approximately 60 other pioneers. Quest's first service was on the Saturday night of May 2, 1999 in a top corner room of the Springs Inn in Lexington. Bill Hybels and Willow Creek Community Church were major inspirations for the start of the church. Many of the early decisions of the church were based on Hybels's decisions at Willow Creek. The church quickly outgrew Springs Inn and moved into a large location in Lexington on Dennis Drive. The new building was 8,647 square feet and had a 2,000 square foot auditorium. The church then outgrew that building and moved into a much larger building in September 2007. The building was The Stadium before it was sold to Quest. It was then remodeled to become even larger a few years later as it was rapidly increasing in attendance.
