Quality Games Online Ltd (QGO) was a UK based online games publisher . Originally founded to assist the Korean development team, WeMade Entertainment in testing and applying patches for the online game, The Legend of Mir 2 the company went on to be the original European publisher for The Legend of Mir 3, as announced in the player festival Mirstock in August 2004. Within a year of launching its debut title, QGO renamed itself Gamesrouter Ltd and announced the launch of its second title, Rose Online, which was developed by the korean development team Gravity. On February 4rd 2006 Gamesrouter Ltd closed its servers, citing financial issues. The GM Team Initially QGO attempted to operate The Legend of Mir 3 with no named staff members that players would be able to cite or reference. However this plan failed when the rogue staff members Draco and Charlie began using the games community and forums to embellish upon their real life romance. It was further complicated by the incorporation of one of the games fan forum teams to operate and moderate the forums as "named staff members" These issues were resolved by December 2004 however where the staff members involved resigned from the company in bad blood, driving a rift between the company and one of its larger fan bases as the former staff used their position within the community to slander and defame their former employers. In the aftermath, a new team of gamesmasters was introduced, consisting of remaining staff members: GM Spann0r GM Chris GM Faust - Community Liaison (Mir III) GM Embers - GamesMaster GM Cinnamon - GamesMaster GM Mors - Webmaster The launch of Rose Online also saw the introduction of two further gamesmasters: GM Deadlock - Community Liaison (Rose Online) GM Demolish - GamesMaster However, it was very quickly learned that GM Faust and GM Deadlock were one and the same person.
