History
IllFonic was founded in 2007 by Grammy Winning artist and producer Raphael Saadiq, Charles Brungardt, and video game designer Kedhrin Gonzalez to bring an entirely unique vision to the gaming world through a combination of deep multifaceted entertainment industry experience combined with proprietary development approaches.
In March 2009 IllFonic announced development of its first console and PC based title named "Ghetto Golf" to be distributed through Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, and Steam. Created by Raphael Saadiq from experiences loosely based on his childhood while growing up in East Oakland, California he "used to play golf on the streets, improvising golf holes with whatever he could find." The games design is lead by Kedhrin Gonzalez and Executive Produced by Charles Brungardt and Raphael Saadiq.
On November 24th 2009 IllFonic had posted to various job forums that they were hiring for an "unannounced PS3 First Person Shooter".
