Publio Arjona Diaz

Publio Arjona Diaz was born in 1967 in Panama City, Panama.
In August 1986 Publio had a serious car accident leaving him quadriplegic. After this incident he started a successful career as a graphic designer/web developer; establishing his own business in 1994 (PI&J Designs Corp) using a mouse operated by infrared signals, the HeadMaster Plus(tm).
Publio is a public speaker and actively assists the Christian Fraternity of People with Disability (FRATER). He was Vice-President of the Association of People with Disability in Panama in the year 2000.
In the year 2005, Publio received an award from the Junior Chamber International (JCI) as an in the category of "Personal Improvement and/or Accomplishment"
Publio founded UNE (United in Equity) in the year 2006, a foundation that helps people with disability to become independent through the use of Assistive Technology (AT)
