Leonard Pollard

Leonard W. Pollard (born October 27, 1941, Lowell, Massachusetts, died September 12, 2007, Lowell, Massachusetts) During his distinguished career in law enforcement he received the TOP COP award in Washington D.C. and was the most highly decorated police officer for the city of Lowell,Massachusetts.He was a police officer from April 20,1975 until his retirement in May of 2002.

Awards:
Received the TOP COP award from the National Association of Police Organizations in 1994 in Washington, D.C.(given to him by Vice president Al Gore). Along with fellow officer David Seamans for saving the life of an 11-month-old infant who was being strangled by an armed intruder.
