David Albert Gremse (born October 14, 1956) is a widely-published American doctor specializing in pediatric gastroenterology whose research contributions of numerous gastrointestinal disorders in children has made him one of the country's most respected physicians within the pediatric community. Gremse serves as chairman of the department of pediatrics for the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. He has served as chair since 2004. Medical community Gremse sits on the Executive Council as Secretary-Treasurer for the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), and he is Vice President of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in Nevada. He is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics, and is fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
