Psychodrome

Psychodrome (or Psycho-Drome) is an amusement ride at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire. Psychodrome is an indoor scrambler with disco lights, strobe lights, and techno music. Psychodrome was manufactured by Eli Bridge. The ride first opened in 1989.
Throughout Psychodrome’s history at the park it has undergone several changes. Psychodrome had a fog machine that was last used in 2006. Since early August 2007, Psychodrome has only been operated with the house lights on.
In 2004 seatbelts were added.
The rides soundtrack is made up of techno. There are five songs on the rides soundtrack. They include Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone and a techno remix of the Pink Panther theme.
House Lights
Psychodrome has always had house lights. The house lights original purpose was for them only to be used during the loading and unloading process. Since early August 2007, Psychodrome has only been operated with the house lights on.
