Project Majestic Mix: The Trance Album - Limited Edition is a fanmade arranged soundtrack album of video game music. The album contains a selection of musical tracks from some games, arranged and performed in the style of Trance music by KFSS Studios. It was released on November 5, 2004, by KFSS Studios. The release bears the catalog number KFSS-708.
Production History and Events
Customers who pre-ordered Project Majestic Mix: The Trance Album - Limited Edition directly from KFSS Studios received a handwritten piece of paper resembling the image on the album cover. Written on each scrap of paper is one of the concept names that had been considered for the album, frequently punning on the word “Trance.” Initial suggestions (later ruled out) included such titles as “Lost in Trancelation”; “Trancelvania”; “Entranced”; “Trancendence”; “Trance Trance Revolution”; and “PMM: Press Start to Trance.” Pre-ordering customers also received a personalized note inscribed on the album cover by the KFSS Producer.
In February 2008, the website was shut down and it is no longer possible to order a new print of this album.
