Project Majestic Mix: A Tribute to Nobuo Uematsu

Project Majestic Mix: A Tribute to Nobuo Uematsu is a fan made tribute album of video game music in honor of Nobuo Uematsu's work for video games, produced by Square. The album was released in Silver and Gold Editions by NTT Publishing, DataM and DigiCube, and both editions contain a selection of musical tracks from the games, arranged and performed by KFSS Studios. The Silver Edition was released on May 9, 2002, and the Gold Edition was released on June 22, 2002. The Silver and Gold releases bear the catalog numbers KFSS-702 and KFSS-701 respectively. The Gold edition, which is not available for purchase, features an additional disc of music that had been in the works, but cut from the final release of the Silver.
Individual sponsors raised over 40,000 for the album; most of this funding went to purchasing the hardware to create the music, as well as securing the rights for the music.
