It Is You was a special promotional six-song CD-EP by the Newsboys, provided to those who preordered the album Thrive in early 2002. It came in a normal jewel case with insert. The CD is now out of print and very rare. The "extended version" of It Is You is the same mix as the album version, just with an extra 13 seconds at the end that was cut from the album track. The version of Joy on this album is an AC radio version of the song, more of a light/acoustic arrangement compared to the Shine: The Hits album version. The last track was a special remix by newsboys member Jeff Frankenstein.
