Professional mastermind network service
|
A Professional mastermind network service (or, in an internet context, simply professional peer group network) is a virtual community that, in contrast to a social network service, is focused on private interactions and group relationships of a business nature. The Mastermind Principle In 1937, Dr. Napoleon Hill published his timeless classic, Think and Grow Rich He personally interviewed over 500 of the most successful people of his day and made this observation: "Analyze the record of any man who has accumulated a great fortune, and many of those who have accumulated modest fortunes, and you will find that they have either consciously or unconsciously employed the 'Master Mind' Principle". Dr. Hill described this Mastermind Principle as the "Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose." This article further relates to Law of Attraction - This type of professional mastermind network service enables all types of professionals to network in private and collaborate by groups of either (two to six is ideal) and a maximum of 12 members, industry, social and business interests so that they can discuss interests, stay informed and share knowledge. Virtual communities like these allow individuals to be accessible while online. People establish their real identity in a verifiable place. These individuals then interact with each other or within private mastermind groups such as Digg that share common interests and goals. They can also post their own user generated content in the form of blogs, pictures, slide shows and videos. Like a social network, the consumer essentially becomes the publisher. These networks improve the ability for people to advance professionally. Business professionals can share experiences with others who have a need to learn from similar experiences. Additionally, the ability to find, connect and network with other member professionals is one reason why LinkedIn has grown from less than 8,500 members in 2003 to over 18 million today. Variant editions The original edition of the book bore the full title, Think and Grow Rich; Teaching, for the First Time, the famous Andrew Carnegie Formula for Money-Making, Based upon the Thirteen Proven Steps to Riches, and it was published by The Ralston Society, (Meriden Connecticut), 1937. Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill , In 1960, Hill himself published an abridged version of the book, which for years was the only edition readily available. in fact there are more than 45 editions now in print all with ISBN#s. In 2004, Ross Cornwell published Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised (ISBN 1-59330-200-2), which restored the book to its original content, with slight revisions, and added the first comprehensive endnotes, index, and appendix the book had ever contained. This version went into a second printing in 2007.
