Priyam Sengupta, is a social worker, motivational speaker and journalist from West Bengal. Career & Education Sengupta completed his schooling from Madhyamgram High School in North 24 parganas. He studied Zoology and passed from Acharya Prafulla Chandra College under West Bengal State University. Priyam worked as a journalist in Aajkaal daily newspaper since 2018. He also became the sub-editor of Sakalbela magazine. Sengupta thereafter established himself as a digital creator in West Bengal. He has been very vocal against Hindutva politics. Professional career On 5 October 2016, Priyam Sengupta set up Bloodmates, a non-profit voluntary blood donors' organization. Bengali singer Rupam Islam was also one of the founders of Bloodmates. Sengupta has organised thousands of blood donation camps. Books Priyam is also a writer. His first Bengali story book, Bookpocket - First Innings was published in 2017 from Kolkata.
