Privacy and freedom of speech

Privacy is the freedom from unwanted intrusion. The internet is indeed one of the fastest growing technology there is today, and it is considered unsafe. The Fourth Amendment protects you from unreasonable searches and seizures. An example of violating this amendment is using MySpace and Facebook for employee background screening. These two sites enable you to tell exactly who you are and what you do. People post interests, hobbies, and pictures that they would not hang in their living room. Since this is a public site, the government and other businesses use this for their gain. There is such thing as business ethics. That is only required on the job. Anything outside of work is their business.
"MySpace has over seventy million users around the world. It is safe to say that MySpace is among the most used social networking web sites out there and it continues to grow." Stalkers use MySpace and Facebook to their advantage. These sites are being used for dating sites and a social network. Not only adults use these services, but kids do also. The danger is that kids speak to strangers that they do not even know. Originally Myspace was use by college students only. Stalkers and molesters can disguise themselves as children. On the other hand kids can be disguised as adults. In conclusion, these cites are great for tracking down old friends and classmates. However they have been tainted with evil and it is wrongly used.
