Prescott Pharmaceuticals is a fictional medical company used by Stephen Colbert on the segment "Cheating Death with Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, DFA" on The Colbert Report. Prescott normally makes terrible medicines with even worse side effects, including "X-Ray Hearing", "Lactose Addiction", "Rectal Hallucinations" and "Prolonged Erections - but - not where you'd hope". Its corporate slogan is "We're sincerely sorry about the zombie thing".
Sponsorship announcement At the beginning of the segment, Colbert normally says "Cheating Death is brought to you by Prescott Pharmaceuticals", and then says a funny line that sounds as though he means for it to make Prescott to sound better than other pharmaceutical corporations, e.g., "Remember, you can't spell 'People of the United States v. Prescott Pharmaceuticals' without 'Prescott Pharmaceuticals'". The segment is often ended similarly to the beginning, with Colbert saying that "Cheating Death" is supported by Prescott, and then says another funny line meant to make Prescott sound better than other pharmaceutical corporations.
Products Most of Prescott's brand names start with "Vaxa-", including Vaxadril, Vaxadrone, Vaxadrene, and Vaxaslim.
