History
In November 2008 Joshua "Captain" Crute, Rob "Mr. Irish" Irish and Emma "Miss Em" O'Keefe took the name The Night Cap to a new level by going starting a Radio show on 3WBC - 94.1FM in Melbourne at 9pm. With a witty humour, quick funny remarks and a fresh comedic take on the world events, it has attracted over 40,000 people on a Sunday Night time slot.
In 2010 Miss Em left the show and was replaced with Chris "2Dads" Kelly - Watts. The Show has faced strong controversy in the past due to some of its contents and has been axed twice. However with The Captain's “Night Cap Nation" (Fans) help, it managed to gain its time slot back. The Night Cap encourages their listeners to be part of the show via the Internet and Facebook and this makes the show about what they are after.
From Live events in Wagga Wagga and across Melbourne, different guests, including WWE Superstars and Now a Miss Night Cap winner, the show grows in numbers on a weekly basis, including a Facebook group of the same name.

The Wagga Cap
During the year, The Night Cap crew go to Wagga Wagga NSW and do a live show from The Home Tavern. The night Cap crew travelled up to Wagga to do a live recording of the night in Wagga Wagga

Hosts
The Captain
The Captain's role is to make sure everything runs on time. He is the leader of The Night Cap and can be heard in all areas of discussion. However, he makes it well known that Sport is not his strong suit.
His ideas are normally of comedic value and he tries to include The Night Cap nation to his conversation as much as he can.
He can be sexist, racist, and plain old rude and crude. But he does it in such a way, that no one feels offended. As he says: “I pick on everyone equally.” “Except Lady Gaga, She is a twit.”
This self proclaimed Legend of Radio is the Driving voice on and off air.
Mr. Irish
He is the Sportsman of the group. Full knowledge of AFL, Cricket and even Lawn Bowls. He knows it all. Mr. Irish spends his weeks looking through old newspapers and crappy local websites trying to find weird and strange news stories.
He wears his Hawaiian shirt and sings along with The Captain to many “poppy” songs.
He is like the settler of the group and can go toe to toe with the Captain in debate. Sometime Mass debate.
2 Dads
The newcomer, 2 Dads is a former front line soldier and brings his army humour to the front line of The Night Cap.
He has a world of knowledge of random facts and strange game humour, to which he gains a lot of flack. Though he is loved by all of the Night Cap Crew.
However he is not trusted with the keys to the station as he is the only one to lock The Night Cap out of the building.
