Prebble Q. McLaughlin

Prebble Quinn McLaughlin (born November 18, 1973 in Houston, Texas) is an actress and radio personality. She has worked for stations across Texas, including Houston's KHMX Mix 96.5, Austin's KHFI and KAMX Mix 94.7. Prebble has also worked as a traffic anchor, reporter and producer for Metro Traffic. In addition to being credited as Prebble McLaughlin, she has used the stage names Prebble Quinn, Prebble Q Ramswell, Kacie Quinn, and Beverly Hills.
Making the leap from radio to television and film, Prebble has appeared in and voiced multiple commercials across the nation and worked in several popular films including Richard Linklater's Suburbia, 8 Seconds, and Rush. In 2009, McLaughlin (under her married name of Ramswell) starred in the independent feature film Cashing Out which won First Place at the West Virginia International Film Festival and is up for several other awards.
McLaughlin was also a well-known swimmer and coach in Texas. She coached for several top ranked programs including Rice University and several USA Swimming teams in the Houston area. She achieved a Level 4 ranking (top 5-8% of United States Swim Coaches) with the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA).
Prebble attended the University of Texas and the University of Houston and holds degrees in Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. While at Houston, Prebble was involved with Alpha Chi Omega, was a member of the UH Ambassadors, editor of the Houstonian, and member of the Lady Cougar Swim Team. After transferring to Texas, McLaughlin became involved with Delta Delta Delta, served as an editor on the Cactus, and was a member of the Lady Longhorn Swim Team.
Today, McLaughlin (now Ramswell) speaks three languages and currently lives in Florida with her husband, Tony, and daughter, Briar. Prebble's father was Joe McLaughlin, an acclaimed sports writer in Texas. Her mother, Al-Rue, also resides in Florida.
She has served on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Northern Virginia, the Children's Science Center, and the Kingston Chase Homeowner's Association, and is an active alum with Delta Delta Delta.
