Prayash Gupta

Prayash Gupta (b. 26th Oct 1989) is an Indian author and columnist from Darjeeling. His articles are featured in Sikkim Express.

* Ishwar pick up the callNovella deals with the life of college students Dipak, Sitara, Abhishek, Karuna, Ishwar and Anyatha. Dipak loved flirting with many girls, but finally he feels that he has found his true love and desires to share his feelings and lead a happy life. Abhishek wants to earn more in a short period, in a different way, but later he feels guilty of his wrongdoing; regrets and aspires to lead a happy life with karuna. Anyatha is hardworking and sensitive girl. She desires a good life with Ishwar. Thus, the plot revolves around their actions, aspiration and sensitiveness and the play of destiny on their lives.
* Poetry Pilgrimage Poetry is a collection of his poems. It deals with varied theme with a different taste of poetic creation. Most of the poems are in conversational- dialogue method and are imbibed with simplicity of language, realistic interpretation of society and moralizing tone.
