Polytechnic University of the Philippines ICT Center

The PUP ICT Center or ICTC is an ICT infrastructure of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines to make the new technology work for its stakeholders, the students. It includes helping the University achieve its vision of achieving excellence in instruction, research and development, and the revitalization/development of the community it serves through ICT.
The construction and development of the PUP ICT Center become into reality because of the financial help of two Philippine Presidents - Fidel V. Ramos and Joseph Ejercito-Estrada. From the President’s Fund, both generously provided the seed money for the construction of the ICT Center in a renovated wing of the Ninoy Aquino Learning Resources Center that started in 1999 and began operation in April 2000.
The Center has been recognized as CHED’s Center of Development for Excellence in IT, DOST’s Virtual Center for Technology Innovation in Information Technology and ICT Training Hub, and Implementing Program of the IT21 Project of the Philippine Government. The Center also has been a favorite venue of local and international events.
