Point-of-entry marketing

Point-of-entry marketing refers to marketing efforts and/or activities that are designed to "meet" customers and prospects at a company’s three main "entry points": the telephone, a website, and a physical location such as a store or office. Point-of-entry marketing services are focused on people who are already “in” or in contact with a company and are designed to increase the company’s customer share, rather than market share.
The term point-of-entry marketing was popularized by a company called BusinessVoice, an agency whose services fall under the heading of Point-Of-Entry Marketing.
