Pinkowski-Institute is apparently named after Edward Pinkowski who seems to operates the website poles.org based in Cooper City, Florida. The site claims to be "Dedicated to Research of Polish-American History and Genealogy, and its Dissemination." To date, it has exactly one Google Book hit [http://books.google.com/books?q=%22poles.org%22&btnG=Search+Books] [http://books.google.com/books?qPinkowski-Institute&btnGSearch+Books], which amounts to credit for an 18th century image of Jozef Pulaski which is in the public domain anyway, because its copyright has expired.
