Piet-Hein Out is a circus photographer from the Netherlands who was a member of the photo jury at the International Circusfestival City of Figueres in 2014. He is considered to be one of the best circus photographers of the moment. Besides his pictures Out is a collector of vintage circusposters. Amongst the vintage posters are also original painted poster designs made for the VEB Zentral Zirkus (=the East-German State Circus or Staatszirkus der DDR) and some original posters by the famous Friedländer printers from Hamburg. Wintercircus Martin Hanson (Netherlands), Magic Circus (Netherlands), Freiwalds Menagerie Circus (Netherlands), Cirque Berserk (UK), Cirque Medrano (France), Circus Krone (Germany), Zirkus Charles Knie (Germany), Circus Louis Knie () and the Chinesischer Staatscircus (Germany/China). Equipment Out started taking pictures in the circus with an old Praktica he inherited from his grandfather. |
