PiBang Linux

PiBang Linux (often referred to simply as "!") is a Raspberry Pi specific Debian based Linux distribution. It was created by "Super" Nathan Weber. PiBang is modeled after, and derived from code of CrunchBang Linux created by Philip Newborough.
PiBang Linux comes preconfigured with many scripts and pipemenus as well as a fork of Raspi-config with increased functions such as support for changing the user and hostname. PiBang is also one of the more complete Rasperry Pi distributions including a complete package set with applications such as Abiword, OMXPlayer, GIMP, and VLC pre-installed.
Features
PiBang uses the Openbox window manager with applications. While CrunchBang is designed to be light on resources, PiBang tests the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi. Though PiBang was originally designed for 256mb Pis it runs efficiently on both 512mb and 256mb Pis.
PiBang Linux is available as a complete SD-Card image, as well as compressed (.zip and .tgz) versions of the image.
Editions
PiBang Linux currently provides an Openbox version for the Raspberry Pi. It comes with: VLC, the GIMP, Iceweasel, OMXPlayer, Abiword, Thunar, Geany, and Transmission.
Previous releases are available also, as well as pre-releases that are in the testing stage.
Based on Raspbian
As of RC3 PiBang sits on top of Raspbian, which provides over 35,000 available packages and is based on Debian Wheezy. In addition to stock Raspbian it also has several scripts and menus that are ported from the crunchbang project as well as a fork of the raspi-config program called raspi-setup.
