Phonon is a cloud telephony company in Asia which provides services to Banks, Airlines, Travel Portals and Indian online companies. History Phonon was founded in October 2006 by Samish Makhija and Ujwal Makhija, who are alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta. Products * Automated Outbound Diallers. Notable Projects * In 2006, Phonon's deployed the Automated Outbound Dialler for Kingfisher Airlines. This Dialler at the time was the first such initiative by any airline of India.<ref name="ET_OBD" /> * In 2008, Phonon deployed Click-to-Call with Rediff.Com. This was a first in the Indian market and helped change the paradigm with which websites were able to proactively contact their customers.<ref name="ET_C2C" /> |
